Who will sign up for the Cleveland Auto Show with fbodfather? It is the same weekend as the Cincinnati Auto Show. I'm thinking I may.

I don't know specifically about Civic timing belts; however, you might check to see if there are any other parts that are recommended to be replaced at the same time as the timing belt. For example, on my Intrepid, it is recommended you change the water pump since you have to remove many of the same parts to get to both the timing belt and water pump.
Good idea!! Thanks

I am in for sure but the link doesnt work... If you go and I have an issue with a guest, are you going alone and you bring my sister in law as a guest??? I pmed Moose to see if I can bring 2 but not sure if thats going to fly. She lives right by Cleveland and would love to go, plus Kris wants her to go. We are going to the show since its only 45 minutes from my parents.

OH.... BTW, the thread has been removed...

Yes, its very easy. Just find you tension pulley and release the tension on the belt. Remove the old one, put the new one on, and then reengage the pulley.

However, some adjust others you have to hold the tension off. All you should need is a ratchet. One person may have to hold it while the other replaces the belt

I fixed the link. I signed up me and your sister in-law.

Weird that fbodfather's thread was removed. A thread were fbodfather posted weeks ago about the Camaro convertible not being at NAIAS was also deleted shortly after he posted.

Just checked out their forums. They have an "Ohio Camaro Enthusiasts..." thread also, but only two pages in one year. Keeping up with one site is enough.

Still waiting for that sunshine. But enjoying the holiday

Too darn wet (foggy) to pull the car out today. Maybe next weekend. Need some actual rain to wash off all that salt Kettering sprays on the pavement.

I also got the oil changed in the Civic, went to the dr. (clean bill of health!) and fixed the truck. Now I am half tempted to go and jack up the Camaro and remove the exhaust and start tinkering with it. First I am going to leave the mufflers and remove the resonators. I think that will be easier, cheaper and better than people doing the muffler delete... I am also thinking of yanking the front facia and starting the DRL to fog lamp mod. Or I may sit on my rump and relax...

That's Ohio weather for you.
