There is a vendor selling the kit but I forget who it is, it's listed (the link) somewhere on the forum unless it's deleted, I think they just pieced it together since it wasn't a GM site, but they were selling it for a pretty good price. I'll update this if I find it.

Picked up my kit yesterday...but missing a few parts...mmmm drive shaft, and the flange nut and washer . I guess no install this weekend.
Andy, can you reuse the existing flange washer and nut? I assume no. I'm planning to see if Chevy will refund the propshaft cost and then buy a single piece shaft instead... JusticePete (if you are still monitoring this thread)/ or Andy, i had upgraded the bushings on my stock diff. How are the bushings on the ZL1 diff? Are they good to go, or do they need to be upgraded before i install? I hope they are good, removing those bushings is a PITA.

WTF? How did GM even let that kit out of the door missing parts
My dealer ordered my kit the other day but has no eta.. I already have a DSS aluminum shaft, I am wondering if it will work with this kit so that I don't have to use the two piece shaft. |

Yeah I know, I think I'm going to order the driveshaft and trans flange and everything else when the axles show up.

Did you ever get a answer on the diff bushings? I may just leave them alone for the PITA they are to get out.

I'm thinking about reusing the bushings i installed in my stock diff, but i'm wondering if the bolts are different sizes how that will work??? I don't see a different bushing kit for the ZL1... BTW, i just got the rest of my kit, although it looks like the drive shaft center bracket was bent in shipping...I'm sure i can straighten...

For stock HP they are fine. As you add power the NVH voids allow more movement than what most would consider acceptable. The only ZL1 bushes that are different are the front sub-frame bushes which are much harder and the toe link bushes are replaced by sealed monoballs. FYI: Diff bushes have no impact on handling. |
