Yeah, I could have hit 12s with a 1.9X anything 60' time that night. Unfortunately some other car blew its tranny on the line and oiled the track down for the rest of the night. Typical!
I may try to make one more visit before modding the car. I'd really like to get a bone stock 12s pass in the 100F weather....just to do it Tony

Didn't use launch control all night. For this pass, I held the RPM steady between 3500-3700 rpm and gradually slipped out the clutch while applying more throttle. The goal is to keep the rpm in that starting range, and time it so that by the time the clutch is all the way out, your gas pedal is on the floor. Takes a little seat time, and different tracks will vary on the rpm range due to traction/prep.
I'd recommend starting out around 2500-2700 rpm. If you bog the engine, that means you have enough traction to try a higher rpm range. Say 2800-3000 next. If you spin too much, maybe need to drop the rpm down a bit next time around. Shifts were powershifts (no throttle lift) at ~6300 rpm or so. Stock tach is kind of hard to read accurately.
