Lean Bank codes
The other day I was driving around town and I had the engine light pop on. I figured it was for my O2 sensors since I have Long tube headers. When I got home I plugged the car in to see what the codes were. It read 2 codes for lean errors in bank 1 and 2. I called my tuner up and he said that most likely I had some sort of air leak which caused the code. I checked over the car and everything seems ok, so I cleared the code off my system. It hasn't come back since.
I guess what I'm getting at is should I be worried since the car threw these cods? Is it ok to keep driving? Should I take it back to the Dyno? I have installed Long tube headers and did a custom tune on the car. I also have a K&N intake and Corsa exhaust. |
