Thanks! I bought it from Bob Johnson in Rochester. I ordered a 2012 in early February and found out in June it was going to be a 2013. I really wanted the 2012 but I do like the head unit on the 2013. I almost held out for the vert but I couldn't take it any longer and stayed with my original order. Only 150 more miles and I hit the magical 1,500 mark (then the fun really starts)

Wow, pictures of the show look great, sorry I couldn't make it.

Welcome to all the new members!

Stix1 - I'm not sure if Mark has more UpstateC5 window stickers ready, but I have one extra set left. I live in Newark but work in Henrietta, so if you're in Rochester and want them just PM me.

Speaking of breaking in, what do you guys think about Darin Morgan's thread?
I didn't see it until I already had 2000 miles. Not having been previously as interested in motors as I have become lately , I found this extremely interesting. Makes you wounder about having left precious HP on the table.

I am from Newark also, Mike Barnard had one (same color) a few weeks ago, thought maybe it was yours.

Ahhh, yes I saw this. Very controversial and not sure I want to risk it. For instance, if something goes bad I wonder if the dealer would warranty it? So far, I've been painfully living by the rules and no problems as of yet.

That's just it. But he admits to being rather extreme because he has the skill and means to fix anything himself. It seemed to me that you get the desired results primarily by loading the engine and avoiding engine braking, not necessarily by going fast or laying rubber. Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I have very little experience here, but it seems to me that if you could find a big hill to climb, you wouldn't have to continually accelerate and that would be ideal. Effective, but not as much fun.

Hiya Spike III! Thanks for the welcome.
I know all about the CRS thing. I've been there for years.
(Like this message that I was drafting on my phone, and forgot to finish and send it. )

Awesome ride you have there!

Got either 1 of top 50 or top 75 out of over 1000 entrants in the show. It was a plaque. which I prefer over trophy. easier to mount on wall?????

My wife and I might meet up at Doug's FF Saturday and hang out for the day with the group! Do you need to give Watkins a car count? If so add me (tentatively) I'll let you know for sure this week!
