Ok I'll see what I can find I read a bunch of threads and guys just said to pull one line out and run it I'll have to read his build thread better to see whet he used.. thanks for the info

Why would the lines blow off the factory cooler?

in my case and in jons we turn up the pressure pretty high for a solid shift.. jon has already had his line blow .. ive also read the cooling is less effective .. but everyone has there opinions

I was hoping the tune would help with the shifting my car when I'm really in it has a slow shift so I was hoping running cooler and the tune would fix it but I'm an automatic are you guys M6? I've been reading about how to boost pressure a bit but I don't plan on going crazy.. I got the info for the cooler and filter off the V8 threads... it won't be hard to bypass it but if it's done right idk why it would blow out unless it wasn't clipped in right

Magnums line blew apart at the factory crimp. I copied his setup and it works flawlessly. Big stall and tons of abuse and my fluid temp never gets above 180

I run an automatic, the factory line is 3/8th and a weak crimp. Once you start increasing power the transmission will increase the pressure to try to hit the scheduled shift times.

For my transmission tune, I got it shifting in 30 milliseconds, close to DCT times.

Ok so I picked these up just in case. I can run strait from the transmission to the filter then cooler and strait back to the trans and bypass the stock lines all together.. thanks for the heads up I had never heard of anyone having a problem like that..

I'm sold I'm just gonna bypass the oem lines I'm gonna have to do some reading on the thermostat and see what's out there.. I'm also gonna pick up some high pressure steelbraided hose the stuff I bought for the vac lines I'm not sure is rated high enough... just curious have any of you guys found a dip stick for the trans?
