Holy crap that looks awesome!!!!

Probably too in depth though. It'd require custom airbrushing and plenty of clear over it.

A guy I work with does custom body work and paint in his spare time and told me $400 to do it. (hardly charging me time) but people keep saying paint wont be good enough that I would need to powder coat them.

Sounds like a good deal but I do question the durability. I know that powder coated rims are tougher. And painted rims will always get a few dings. But with enough clear coats (but not too many), it should be just like our rims are now. Our rims are painted right now after all.

True... My biggest concern is not liking it or having it look "over done" or "too busy" and me not like it after.

Very cool rim design. I've been thinking about gun metal gray powder coat. Hmmm.....

That's a good point. However, it looks interesting in the pic. I don't think it looks too overdone, but thats just my opinion.

Welcome Zedder, hope you join the 45th group here

The white will probably grow on you, give it a bit of time before changing it.

Do you really have 40 Camaros ??? would love to see photos of your collection, please post some when you can

Thanks for the welcome! You are probably right about the white trim, but it's good to know that it is easy to swap if I wanted. I wish I still had them all, but that is my total from over the year (35 years to be exact ). When the muscle car market started to tank I sold both of my '67 Z's. Here is a pic of one of them...
