website/store to buy mobile electronics???

are there any website/store other than CRUTCHFIELD.COM that offers low price for mobile electronics with good reviews and customer service?

i saw CARAUDIOGIANTS.COM and they got low price but when i searched for reviews, it wasnt that good, especially their shipping issues.

i'm planning on getting all JL AUDIO for my subs/amps .. in crutchfield, it would cost me $1370 while at CARAUDIOGIANTS its $900
x1 JL Audio XD400/4 for the speakers
x1 JL Audio JX1000/1D for the subs
x2 JL Audio 10W3v3-4 subs

any suggestions to any website/store ???

(and yes i want all JL AUDIO .. i have done my research on that and compared to other brands.. so. NO stupid comments trying to sugest what brand i'm going to use)

Al&Eds - Good prices (price match). I haven't dealt with their customer service.

While Crutchfield is wonderful and they are authorized dealers, their prices can be up there. If purchasing from an unauthorized dealer, not only check reviews, but check out the warranty they match. Often times their warranty will match the manufacturers because they buy from an authorized dealer and sells the items at a discounted price. However, because they bought from an authorized dealer, in bulk, they'll have you return the item to them and they'll process the warranty exchange through the authorized dealer they purchased from. Usually the process is seamless to the customer. All they know is they get taken care of. I can't stress it enough...read the reviews and any warranty information.

I've purchased from Sonix Electronics, Mobile Sound Works, Subwoofers Etc
...all technically "unauthorized" but all sell authentic products and have the warranty to back it all up. I have yet to be disappointed with them. Crutchfield does have a leg up with their return policy though.

Crutchfield probably has the best customer service and tech support around (i dont mind paying a little extra for that). I wish companies like verizon and xm were even half as good.

I agree that dealing with Crutchfield is top notch. Their prices are not always bad either, especially if you factor in some of the freebees they offer. The stores I listed were simply the alternatives that the OP requested.

no doubt crutchfield is one of the top notch and an authorized JL AUDIO dealer. but to find another dealer who is also reputable and BBB accredited and -$500 less is something to think about
