Wow! I worked as a claims adjuster in a rural area for 7 years and handled all kinds of animal strike claims (deer, dogs, horses, cows, rabbits, pigs but never a turkey) and this one would make my top five for - "really there is that much damage from an animal?".

How much turkey goo did you have to wipe off your face?

Glad you are OK - I handled some animal strike claims where there was some serious injury.

Good luck on the repairs. Hope it is back to ya soon.

I saw one do this to an Astro van about 50 yards ahead of me on my Harley a few years ago. All I can remember thinking is it would have taken me clean off the bike. Awful. Sorry for your luck. I'd eat the SOB.

A few years ago I saw a turkey come out of the trees and glide across the road about 20 yards in front of me. My thoughts were, DAMN. If I was just a little farther ahead I would have hit it. I have never forgotten that. Now to see this. That is crazy. Hope your alright. How fast were you going?

Hope everything is ok, considering. Reminds me of when I saw working for Siemens one of German my co-workers sent me a pic of a 911 on the test track that hit a pheasant at 150mph. Went through the windshield on the pass side and imbedded in the back of the seat. It was about 15 years ago so the closest pics i could find were these involving a chicken.

Wow!

I was expecting to open this a see a bit of damage but this falls into the "Glad you're OK" category! I would imagine this scared the crap out of you.
