Another Autox Event :) (z28 showed up)
Finally, temperatures in the 80s, not a cloud in the sky and a parking lot full of cars. A bran new z28 showed up so it was a fun car to see.
My car felt good, it is still on the stock tires and they actually arnt too horrible when the temps are in the 80s. Ended up winning my class and paxing 36 out of 148 drivers. Here is video. Still playing with locations and need to buy a headrest mount cuase this view was off the back window and way too far. Wouldn't focus on the course. Either way I really wanted that 57.999 run as you can tell.

Congrats on the win. I've found just over the top of the windshield gives a great view of the course. Just picked up a mic to mount on the rear so I don't hear the wind noise. Trying it out at Super Chevy in 2 weeks. The Z looks really nice.

Good job Chris! My car was on jackstands until the afternoon, otherwise I would've been there.
A pro driver got down to a 54.xxx in that Z/28 yesterday so the owner has some catching up to do. |

I chatted with the driver and told him to let one of them guve it a go as i wanted to see the car perform. Shortly after I saw Pat give it a go and saw him click off a 55.4 which I still thought was a little slow. Perry took mine out and got a 57.4 out of it. I left scratching my head and was about .6 off him. Then again Perry and Pat are on a different level Lol. Z28 is faster no doubt however tire for tire I don't think it will be that much if any faster than a regular 1le.

Something like autocross I would think the two cars would be fairly even with the z/28 slightly quicker. Now take it to a road course.... lol different story.
