That looks very similar to the Corvette DP's prior to the switch to DPi.
Still cool looking though!

I’m sure the rendering is close but I highly doubt the 600 hp LT1.

i'm sure those smaller motors with twins could easily make 600 - especially considering manufacturers advertise crank HP, and the lower-displacement engines make all their power on the top end (above 5252rpm [where HP > torque])

They are implying 600 hp from a naturally aspirated LT1.

Yeah they lost me at 600HP LT1.
There is a supposed LT1 successor in the works, but I can see something around 475 - 525 HP range. Nothing more. Honestly anything over 500 would shock me.

They mentioned it was a 'successor' to the LT1 (so more than just a tweaked LT1) with higher compression, more aggressive valve timing, and less restrictive exhaust. If thats all it is, I can't see it hitting 600.
But if there is something they left out, like DOHCs or light hybridization or extra displacement ... its certainly possible.

What's going to be exciting is that GM is probably going straight for Ferrari and Porsche GT2 with this thing. Z06 already faster than 488. It was only a matter of time before GM flexed their engineering know-how in a useful way. Now that they are, they are a monster.
