Differences between US and Canadian Camaros

Hey guys, this might be stupid, might not.

I know the Camaros were built in Canada but depending on destination (US or CAN) were the cars any different. To add some substance to my question i ask because when shopping would it make sense for me to also look in States? I am big on keeping money local but for something this big and expensive I can live with myself.

Thanks all
B

Speedo reads in mph instead of kph although can be switched back and forth. If you buy a new US car and ship it to Canada you lose your warranty. Right now with the crappy Canadian dollar only worth $.75 US it's probably not worth it to buy in the States. When I sold cars in Canada the US dollar was worth less than or on par with the CDN $ so we made hay selling CDN cars in the US but used to get in trouble with GM for doing so.

Mine is a US market car bought here in Canada.... As noted the speedo is different but is switchable. The bad news is it tops at 180 as opposed to 260 for Canadian KM/H... Car is not limited to that of course.... And gauges are in PSI on the console not metric ranges. Other than that have at it. I saved a pile of dough buying this car.

It had 180 KM (110 miles) on the clock and I saved 11K compared to a brand new one.....

Yes only difference is the 2ss gauge pack in the center not being metric. My SS is a usa car too and I really don't mind the US gauges

I don't mind them either as for me I relate to PSI better anyways when it comes to oil pressure... Kg/meter squared what...

Canadian Camaros with major medical issues come to the U.S. to get fixed quickly.

Your mirrors are horrendous. They remind me of an old grandpa everytime I see them on YouTube or picture
