Ted

I installed a B&M in my 6L50 on my 2013 LFX AT so these should fit the V6 cars also.

My question is, do you plan to make anything for the 6GEN LT1s with A8 AT?

I've looked at the transmission and there is a fill tube in a similar location as the A6 AT.

Thanks for any update.

We will be test fitting this on my personal A-8 ASAP.

I just installed my dipstick today. I had a bit of a fight because of the way the tube buts up against that wiring harness, cost me a couple hours. The key to it is to get the whole tube in position, but clocked (bell housing bracket downward). Put the oring/gasket in the tranny. Then try and rotate the dipstick tube: have someone push downward slightly while you're underneath urging the tube in.

This last part cost me the most time. You just can't get your hands good purchase on the tube to pull down hard enough to get it to engage all the way. If you're by yourself and you get it partially in from the bottom, chances are you can finish from the top. What a satisfying feeling when it finally popped into place.

P.S. Shame on GM for not including one in the first place.

Put this in when doing cam & converter a few weeks ago. Well worth the price to be able to check the trans fluid anytime I need too! Great product and service as well!

Just finished putting mine in. Took a while working around the long tube headers & hooking the O2 sensor back up. But all is well no codes. Must have put things back right. I know you don't have to check it all the time.

But I didn't think it would set back so far.

Kept hitting the limiter on launch with 1 extra quart in.... how nice it was to just pull the dipstick and add another quart without a jack etc..... My track day would have been done without the tube... just giving another shoutout.......

oh but it ended up I just needed to command the shift 3mph sooner... she was hooking nice!

Either way, I Love the tube.

I have not had a V6 available to try it.

You can order one from us and if it doesn't work you can return it for a full refund, I will even cover the shipping back to us for your time.

Ted.
