Thanks, I saw it in Philly under the lights and loved it, saw it at my dealer on a HHR on a cloudy day and still liked it. Many guys report too much green, IMO, I don't see it. But I switched from IOM for ABM

Let's face it, we have to settle for these blues because it's all there is. Jetstream Blue is my favorite current blue, but it's not cost-effective for GM to include it, and it's an extra-cost option on the Corvette. Newer members may not know, GM was not going to make ANY blue Camaro SS's until we raised hell. So, I'm willing to compromise, and get ABM with white rally stripes.

I would def go with Aqua Blue, but have had it already on 2 different cars, so its time for a change. In all light conditions, its a great color, unlike some of the others offered.

I have a feeling there will be an option for Jetstream Blue eventually, i thought the ABM looked good, i would say its the better blue out of our options.
Squalo, you didnt like it when you saw it in person? |

Hey Walt,
No, it is primarily blue, with just a hint of green. Hence the name, aqua blue. Think of the blue/green carribean waters, but on the bluer side. Its a stunning color you will be very happy with. The only 2 reasons I'm not getting it. 1-Had before on 78', and a similar blue on 03' Impala....And #2, I was a bit spoiled on the 78' (bought used in 83'), as at that time, aqua blue was VERY rare, atleast where I lived. So I had one of a kind. In the late 80's, the color became much more prevelant on GM cars. All the colors on the new Camaro are somewhat common, but for someone like yourself who has never had it, and is drawn to it, you will be VERY happy with it. It is among the most consistently vibrant of all the colors offered, in varying light conditions. Here's pic of my 78' (sorry, not the best photo)

I love JSB, but will settle for ABM for now. The Camaro looks great in all colors too...

To Derby - The 78 that you bought used, the color code on that was 48 and it was called DARK BLUE GREEN METTALIC. I actually ordered the same colr back in 1978. I still own it today with 50,000 or so miles. On order, I have a cyber gray with black int and because of the contraint on my color I will be changing it to Imp Blue. I would have ordered green if they had it.

I'm feeling the same way. Just doesn't have the look of the 1st gen blue colors. And I sure don't like the Smurf blues either. I thought ABM would be good because it's not too dark to show a lot of dirt and dust, but is dark enough to show deep reflections. But I'm just not sure about that shade of blue....

I just saw it in person, and I'm not sure I like it as much. It definitely has a green-ish tone to it, almost teal. But it's still really nice. I didn't like it on the HHR, but I think it will look better on the Camaro. I just wish they had used the same blue from the older Camaros, or even the one they have on the current Corvettes, I think it's Jetstream Blue.
