Question RS package front headlights..

Hi there,

I am wondering if the RS package comes with xenon front headlights? Or its halogen?

Thanks

Xenons with a Angel Eye halo ring, to my knowledge.

HIDs are more correctly metal halide lamps, not xenon. An electric arc is the main source of light. The xenon gas is only used so the lamps can produce minimally adequate light when first turned on and to speed up the lamps' run-up time. Similar street lights use argon gas but take minutes to produce full light output.

They are HID not Xenon. Completely diffrent setup and technology. And personally I have NEVER seen a HID burn out. I have them on my car for three years (run them during day and night) and have not burned out one yet(dunno if you can or not)

Thanks all for important informations.

I asked this question because I saw a pic in the Camaro 2010 brochure and another pics in silver color thread seems like xenon (I am sorry I dont know how to upload the pic, I am new here).

Also when you go to http://wwww23.chevrolet.com/vehicles...ro/features.do
and click on Exterior, you will find and option for xenon HID headlamps.

And is it possible to fix xenon from the dealer it self?

Thanks

And if its not xenon, is it possible to fix xenon?

? GM doesn't offer halos and HIDs separate, to my knowledge. You can go the aftermarket route. http://www.automotivelightstore.com/afterburner.aspx They should have what you're looking for
