You are correct that Visteon designed and currently manufactures the DSP amplifier in the Chevrolet Camaro. It is an eight channel amplifier that has a custom EQ designed specifically for the Camaro. Regarding the actual power output, there are many different methods of rating power. This amplifier uses a pair of four channel NXP TDA8595 output IC that are driving 2 Ohm speakers. You can visit the NXP website and search for this part number to get the output IC specification. I hope you enjoy your new car. |
