Radiator Replacement?

First of all, my radiator has a slight crack in it which causes it to leak a little bit.

I am looking to replace the radiator before I do my cam in the coming months.

Where are you guys getting replacement radiators and is it worth is to get an upgraded performance radiator like a Mishimoto?

I recommend getting the CSF Radiator. THis is the radiator that we use on all of our shop Camaro's. My motto has always been "If you have to replace, UPGRADE!"

CSF designed these radiators to be a direct OEM replacement, requiring no modifications for installation. Utilizing the “B-Tube” technology and a radial tank design, these units are designed to perform up to 40% more efficient than OEM stock radiators. This radiator will keep even the most powerful and demanding engines cool even if pushed in extreme temperatures and conditions. Not only do these units look great, but they are designed to last.

If you have any questions, Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime!

Best regards,

Tyler

Just the shiny factor on this radiator should be good for 5-10 RWHP.. fine looking piece of hardware.

I like Flex-a-Lite and BeCool better and they're both made in the USA. Costs more but I think they're slightly better units. Not that the CSF is bad, but thats my opinion. The units with new fans are ridiculously priced but would support a ton of power.

The Mishimoto radiator is made by CSF in Indonesia. The Flex-a-lite is US made and has twice the capacity of the CSF.

Meh. Never been a fan of dissimilar material radiators. They like to split especially when you get them real hot a lot. I'd go CSF before doing that.

Unless you're tracking your car in Arizona in high heat I agree with John.
