Vmax Ported TB
Ok, so I purchased a Vmax TB and installed it today.
Go to turn key on and get numerous error codes. Check Engine Light on Reduced Engine Power Message Service Stabiltrak Message Code- p0223 Dev 05e8 - TP Sensor 2 Circuit High Voltage I cleared the code and it kept coming back on and disconnected battery and keeps coming on? Wondering if JDP shipped me out a defective unit or Iam doing something worng? |

Hmm now I am little worried to install my ported TB now. I know whenever you disconnect the TB the CEL will come on but disconnecting the battery should fix that. Strange.

Me too, except I used a scanguage. I know they said you get the codes from unplugging the TB so I would keep clearing them or drive it a few miles and see if they clear that way.

I did the same disconnectted battery.
I cleared the codes 5 times with trifecta code scanner and they keep coming back on. Cant drive car because the power is reduced to nothing. Thinking it may be defective unit. I called JDP and they are going to get more info on Monday and if needed ship me another one. |

Yup, triple checked everything. Only TB plug and MAF plug and there both in.
Going to let it sit and have a few beers then try it again I mean when we get these VMAX TB they are used but do they go thru testing before they get shipped out? Might just ask to upgraded to a new TB |

No problems here either... I got a light because i leave my car running with the agressive ghost cam tune, but clear with trifecta and all good! Double check everything... No air leaks...

All are tested and have had 3 failures in over 4,000 in use. If it is defective, no problem...JDP will get you one right out to swap....but look closely at the pins in the connector to make sure none got bent or damaged (very rare). Also, are you disconnecting the negative cable in the trunk? The underhood pos cable will not release all stored codes.
