I did it in a garage. The instructions are pretty damn good as far as the install goes. Only thing I suggest which is probably a no brainer is lifting the car high enough. And like the instructions say make sure the floater is clear to float freely

I'm not sure how many hours but I did it in two days since I worked on it at night and needed to get a tool the next day.

I did mine on stands in the garage also. I found that the measurements for the hole that needs to be drilled in the frame box behind the front wheel well were off on mine. I hit a bend in the sheet metal. Not sure why, so make sure you locate the hole in the correct place, look for the spot welds and drill into the void area in between them so you can feed your return line through it. Took about 4-6 hrs.

took me about 1.5 hour to drop rear completely, drop tank and put pump in then re-install. if you need to run all your lines still that would take the time, depending on routing etc. Im not sure what the above is referring to as far as drilling holes etc, with my feed and return under the car in the location of old fuel lines there was no drilling or modifications there...
clean and simple install. best to have all your fittings and such ready to go and start with them on the pump and tank so when in place you know what you are working with for length, route the lines so when you unclamp them it leaves you room to drop the tank with slack in the lines..

The Squash instructions for the 5th gen install show where to drill the hole for fuel line pass through inside the frame rail. I am assuming this is to get the fuel hose away from the engine/header heat and for hose protection. Nice clean and safe install. I have a little extra line coiled up for use later if needed. This is looking into the passenger side wheel well with the fender liner removed.

Thanks. And the hole has a grommet in it, but not in the pic. There's several ways to route the return line.

Thanks for the info. I went home on my lunch hour and pulled the tank and had it on the floor in about 30 min. A lot easier than i expected. I got the complete kit from andy with fittings and lines. Anyone have a pic of where they mounted their regulator?

Here is a pic of where mine is. Not sure I will keep there, but it works for now. It's just bolted to a coil. Others have posted pics of it mounted behind the abs lines on the firewall.

Andy and I installed mine in my garage on jackstands. I am also pretty sure the pictures in the instructions are of the install we did.

My return line was ran inside the frame rail to the back of the car where it exits the framerail and goes up the side of the tank. I don't know if the instructions say to do that but it works.

That's what I followed on the return line instructions from Andy. Really pretty simple too.

Where my regulator is. I have since rerouted the fuel lines but the regulator is in the same place.
