A couple of weeks ago I replaced my 3157 bulbs with some 3157 LED array assemblies from AZ. They were not as bright as the bulbs though and it was really apparent with my Night Shade tinted tail lights. I talked to Nick C. at Diode Dynamics and he suggested the XP80 units. He also advised me to put in red LEDs instead of white as the white would wash out the red lenses.

All I can say is that these are awesome! Nick was right. The red makes them remain red and these LEDs are bright. The only thing left to test is the longevity which time will tell but with a 3 year warranty, I am expecting good results.
