I have had some rattling in the trunk lid for a little while. I saw little pieces of plastic and figured I would get it fixed whenever. Today a nut fell out when I opened the trunk. I pulled the rubber pieces that are along the edge of the trunk and 2 nuts on the spoiler were missing. One other one was very loose. If you have a rattle in your trunk lid check your spoiler.
LOL... I totally forgot about this thread. But you're right rattling in the trunk is probably spoiler nuts.

This problem was on the original 2010's coming from the factory with the nuts not torqued down.

Hate it when your nuts come untorqued.

I thought getting them torqued was the part you didn't want?
