Whipple or Ecs or Hellion

I'm struggling to pull the trigger on either kit, I'm looking for the best way to have a fast weekend car. I love going to the track and I want to be able to run mid to high 9's 1/4. I want to push my stock bottom end to its limit then switch over to a 427 lsx if ever needed. Right now I just have a cammed l99 to ls3 with a night fury cam and ported heads. I just got a 6l90 trans Ans I'm running 3.73 gears, I don't mind switching gears again if needs be. I just want the best all around set up. I'm also on e85 with fore triple pumps and ID 1700 and I'm also going with bmr drag suspension and coilovers

Hmmmm. You're going to get a lot of biased answers which, of course, you set yourself up for.

I had a rear mount turbo set up and I went high 10'a but the lag was so terrible and I haven't seen or even heard of a person on here that has gone 9's turbo
I just want fact and proof

I have a SLP blower. If I could do it over again I would have done Hellion because of its potential.

Blower cars and turbo cars, both get into the 9's. Seems as though more SC cars are there, but then again, there are a lot more SC cars here on C5. What kind of power are you looking to make?

Running 9's on a stock bottom end is no problem. Why have you limited yourself to just one turbo manufacturer?

I was asking about what kind of power your wanting to make now, not in the past, for a simple reason. If your wanting to keep pushing your car, once you build your stock bottom end, and transmission, then in the long run turbos will be cheaper for big power.

I think its obvious that a SC'd car will get you there without question, and its also no secret that there are not many turbo cars doing it, a big part of that is not because they cant, its because there are just not as many turbo owners out there.

Take a step away from the C5 forum and search the internet, you will find plenty of 9 second turbo cars.

suspension, and aftermarket stall converter is what I would look at first all the power in the world is no good if you can't efficiently get it to the ground, after that both options should get you to your goal
