Good morning everyone. Starting this thread to garner interest in a growing Camarovan from New England to CamaroFest 8 here are some simple answers and bits of information.

Q: What is CamaroFest?
A: A Huge 1,000+ Car Event for Camaro's put on by the moderators of this forum with road course, autocross, drag racing and a daily car show with a ton of vendors selling and installing.

Q: Where is CamaroFest 8
A: Beech Bend Race Park; Bowling Green, KY July 12th thru 14th with a Sunday the 15th Cruise planned.

Q: Where is the Host Hotel?
A: Probably same as last time which was Holiday Inn on Wilkinson Terrace, overflow hotels were Courtyard and Hampton Inn across the road.

Q: Hotel Discount?
A: Yes CamaroFest does get a discount through a discount code to be released possibly this weekend. Rooms fill up super fast for this event.

Q: How to get there, what route should I take?
A: With your Camaro hopefully, you may take any route there is a growing camarovan making a straight trip on Wednesday night as others form up I will post them on this site. When using Google Maps 3 routes come up I will post these for everyone in the second post.

CAMAROVAN ROUTE #1 (NON-STOP ROUTE)



CONCORD, NH TO BOWLING GREEN, KY

I will be taking this route non-stop except for gas and piss breaks however if anyone would like to meet up at one of two convergence points I am fine with making a pit stop for 30mins or so maybe even a food stop at the first one for a longer period.

Holiday Inn is booked full Hilton Garden is just about full i think marriott courtyard is the only one with rooms left. But there are tons of hotels in walking distance or a very short drive.

Hey Paul, I booked at the Red Roof also.

Evilbee, what are the days and times for the journey and stops? I might need to add a night on my booking.

Some of us are doing a straight shot others are not i know DBNSSNH makes it a two day affair JB12ZL1 may do 2 days as well i did the 19hr trip in 14.5hrs. Last year so I'll be doing non-stop prolly not good for the older drivers. We'll post more information as others decide on their routes.

We all met up in Columbus, Ohio last year that seemed to work really well. So if you wanted to plan around that we all could. We will say to take 275 around Cincinnati though because going through Cincinnati is a terrible idea...

What day to you actually get there? The 11th or the 12th?

Personally the 12th is a likelihood. I think anyone going should plan to meet up together in the spring maybe at a seacoast cars and coffee or something to plan and discuss. We can bring some tablets and laptops and maybe plan routes or meet-ups like we did at the tilted kilt last year. Granted after Columbus, Ohio we were good til we hit Cincinnati and got stuck in traffic for almost 2 hrs after that everyone broke off and went their own way til Bowling Green. I had a stop planned in Louisville, KY but i axed that after the 2hr. Traffic delay a few people still met up for lunch.
