I agree. I would pass on it as well. There are nicer ones out there.

Agree. There are better deals available. I picked up my 15 last year for $34k with 5k on the odo. Orig owner car- showroom condition. That car looks neglected. I’m anal though about maintenance.

Thanks a lot man! It's like 4 1/2 hours from me,and so far it doesn't seem worth it. But if you happen to drive by there let me know!

The salesman told me that the local dealership lakeside Chevrolet did all the work according to the previous owner. I call lakeside Chevrolet and they told me the only thing they've ever done to the car wasn't oil change! Liars!

I'm wondering if they're hiding something at This point. Maybe it was a repossession and purchased at auction. Sometimes that stuff doesn't show on the Carfax

I disagree with you. The dealer is not giving out personal info of the seller so I would tell them they are not being honest with me and I would say goodbye. I would imagine the dealer got it at a auction more than likely. Like some has said the dealer could contact the seller and see if it was ok for a buyer to contact them but again I bet they do not know who the previous owner was.. If the dealer won't do that then I am gone. I would buy one off a owner instead from a dealer anyway if possible.

Isn’t it funny how there’s privacy when buying and selling cars but if a person gets arrested you can look it up for all to know or even goto the police dept and get a copy of the report. Sorry off subject!! Hahaha. But anyway everything has been figured out abt where the car came from. No need for everyone to get all up in arms abt frivolous stuff.

Have you tried a carfax report? If work was done at a dealership they might have it documented

I am far from being up in arms, but it isn’t reasonable to believe a dealer would contact a previous owner for a potential new customer just because that potential customer wants to converse with them. What next, what’s his or hers address or phone number so I a can bug the crap out of them because I don’t like what they did or did not reveal to the dealer when Trading or selling the vehicle.
