what does the 2012 zl1 not have that the 2013 zl1
what does the 2012 zl1 not have that the 2013 zl1 has. is it just the nav system. did the 2012 have the 7 inch screen. if so can it be updated with a 7 inch 2013 screen? any other things not offered in 2012. thanks

The only difference between the two is the MyLink Stereo. The 2012 still had the old style stereo with the back-up camera in the rear view mirror.

You can update the radio to Mylink. Ofer offers that, about $1000 I think. I am at a loss for the name of the site right now, but great guy from all reports and well done kits.

MyLink and perhaps some unknown and untold minor engineering changes. Externally both cars are identical.

Yep, as others have said.... the mylink system, back up camera in the touch screen vs rearview mirror, and frameless rearview mirror.
Not mention the 13's got some of the quirks worked out with minor items such as the ZL1 decal on the dash peeling, and the packing in the NPP exhaust failing.

2013 was also the first year for the convertible ZL1.
