Watch how much heat comes out of your hood at a stop sign.

I noticed at a stop light yesterday. Could see it pouring up through the vent. I could only imagine how much heat builds up under a hood without the extractor!

Little late to the game on this mod, but since the Vengeance cam install, the heat from the motor is unbearable.
Anyone have an old set of ACS instructions and template they can post up? Thanx!

Excellent writeup and DIY. I tackled mine last week and it came out great. I took the hood off because it was easier to line up the template and make the cuts, IMO. The hood comes off easy, gas strut, four nuts and a quick disconnect on the washer line about half way back to the windshield. I cut mine with a jigsaw and metal cutting blade, worked great. Just took my time. Making the front bracket is a bit of a pain, there is not as much hood structure to mount/push it up against. Thanks for taking the time to create this DIY.
