Turbo Info Plz
Ok, I know that some of the Texas crowd has turbos installed. My question about where you got them, if possible post a link of those you have please. Then the final cost after installation . I know that installation will be different in certain areas, but it at least gives me a general cost to think about. Also reason I'm posting in the Texas area, is because we all share same emissions laws .

I got mine from TTI/Granatelli...it's their kit for the 2010/2011 Camaro... Turbo kits appear expensive, and they can be, ask me how I know, but compared to the other FI systems, the final product is relatively close.... There are a number of companies making kits, it's up to you to do the research and determine what suits your short and long term goals...are you going to stay with the stock block, or forge it... Cam or stock, and how much hp/torque are you looking for...all of these factors have to be weighed....you also have to consider the fuel system upgrades, injectors, pumps etc... A basic bolt in kit from TTI/Granatelli is going to run you between 9 and 10 grand. My recommendation is to find a builder that you absolutely trust first and work with them to determine what you will need based on your goals... As for the cost when comparing it to a screw type or pro charger style, consider that you won't need headers... If you limit the boost, you can even get by with just a muffler delete to the stock system...turbos are the best mufflers ever designed... I'll happily help you any way I can... I'll send you more via pm when I am on my puter and not my iPad...

So basically for this mod my best bet for full info is to call a dealer I'm interested in.

If you don't have a builder in mind, I can recommend a couple. I would talk to a builder you trust and listen to their expertise. That a what I did. Rather than buying stuff, I shopped around and found my builder. He listened to what I wanted and then educated me about the whole process. The good, the bad, and the ugly... We collaborated on every aspect of the build, and in many cases I asked him to treat it as his own car... He does this for a living and I don't... This is where the trust came in...I trusted him to do the right thing and not bend me over the barrel... I couldn't be any happier than I am with my car and the results... As above, there are many kit builders, and all of them will tell you theirs is the best... I walked into my builders shop with an idea of what I wanted, and I had two kits to look at that I had narrowed it down to... He looked at both, though he wasn't excited about the turbo kits available at the time, he also searched and looked at all of them available... He kept coming back to the one I had pretty much decided on.. From there we went off on tangents and back. Off into left field and you can see the results in my signature... I can honestly say... I fear no vehicle out there. Bare in mind the numbers in my Sig are on a very conservative tune and boost level...my only problem is the aspect of having to relearn to drive... I do not dump the clutch, and I can literally spin the tires any time I want just on the gas...step into it, hit boost, and hang on... No one with this much power ever needs to even think about talking or texting while driving... As my builder says, I'll either go like hell, or go into the ditch backwards at over a hundred miles an hour... Yes, Brandi will get sideways over a hundred, really easily...

Dan Oliver @ Outperformance Shop in Grand Praire, Texas put my STS Twin Turbo rear mount system on. He's probably going to be the cheapest guy around this area. Great guy...honest. Do you homework before calling him so that you can see for yourself that he's the best deal in this area, anyway. Course it really depends on your options. I think install cost me near 1000.00.
