Sorry to see that, people today are too self absorbed and don't care about other people's things. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. When I take wifey to do errands I always park as far as I possibly can from everyone, and either I drop her off (when she is in heels) or she walks with me from the boonies. I've been known to park in a different lot if I don't see enough space in the lot I'm in. But it don't matter some of the time, I've parked on the other side of the planet with no car within 50 yards of mine only to find someone parked next to it with all that area still available. Makes no sense what so ever.

Sorry dude, that bites!
I was in a similar situation the other day with my dad. I dropped him off at the door and went and parked in the boonies....then when we left, I went and got the car and picked him up. Don't want to make him walk either and I am not trying to park close especially this time of the year. Most people just dont care.

I think of parking lots as no mans land in WWI. If you look hard enough you can spot the blue/green gas clinging to the ground inching its way towards you over the speed bumps. Best to avoid such vile places but if you have to go send in your navigator to shop while you patrol the perimeter.
...and yes it's true, people today have no code and no honor. If they did they would disembowel themselves in front of your vehicle in payment for their transgressions. :slice: |

Sorry to hear about your misfortune bud, hope you get it fixed soon! Yep people these days don't give a S*** about other peoples property. A lot of them don't care about their own stuff, much less somebody else's! I don't mind too much if I mess my own stuff up, but it's the other knuckleheads you have to try and watch out for!!
My Chevy truck door just got badly dinged while wife was using it last week! Until then, it was dent free, and in April,I will have it for 17 yrs!! Really makes you sick!! We'll just have to get em fixed!!! |

3M rubbing compound followed by some polish will help. If 3M isn't available, Meguiar's 'Scratch-X' can be picked up from your local auto parts store.

I feel your pain buddy, I was parked in the back forty of a dollar store...opposite side if the cart corral, and WTF do you think happened? Some A-hole kamikaze'd my driver door with a shopping cart! Three major dings/scratches, one right on the ridge line of the door. Dealer wanted $1200.00, but found another local shop that wants $650.00. Just concerned about them matching the IOM paint. Dealer states its a hard color to get right. Anybody heard the same?
