Exhaust pops on startup...normal? - Video
I've posted before and some said yes, but this seems loud like a backfire. Is this something I need checked out?

Thanks. I was getting a bit worried.
But... It's funny when it scares people walking by and I remote start it.

Mine did that when I had just long tubes. Now that I'm cammed its ever so often. I have a straight pipe exhaust

mine does it a lot with just a flowmaster catback. working on gerting my headers and cam in and i can't wait to hear the pop with it all installed. wastes fuel keeping the RPMs a little higher just to hear it but damn do i love the sound when slowing down. but as is it does a short burst of pops on startup usually. maybe not exactly like the video but it could only sound idfferent because we have different exhaust set ups.

I have a 2014 Camaro SS and had the resonator and mufflers removed and added an h pipe. It sounds great!! I do occasionally get a back fire.

Normal. I get it less since I installed my aftermarket catback. I got it lot with stock catback and stock catback with long tubes.
