anyone know the repo laws in texas?
no its not my camaro!
 lol i let someone take a bike i had for sale and pay it off in payments....well now its looking like i may need to repo it. anyone know what i have to do, to legaly repo the motorcycle if i need to? i know this is alittle randon but i know we have a few cops on c5 that thought it was worth a try

you got the title? do you know where the bike is?
If so, call the law and have them meet you there. Show your proof of ownership and take it home with you.

ya but because i have a contract with him i didnt know if i had something extra to do.....that and the bike doesnt have a title its a custom harley so all he got was a bill of sale saying he would make payments on it.....and all i have is the bill of sale saying that i paid for the bike from the guy who built it

You should've basically had a contract with the guy to make the payments. If he stopped making payments then he has breached the contract. You should be able to take possesion. Surely their is some type of title. Doesn't it have to be registered an insured? You have to have something to say you have an intrest in it in order to insure it.
I think your bank's loan department would be a good place to start. Then you might call the local police office to see if they can tell you what to do as well. Good Luck.

whos the bike titled to? thats all that matters, if its in your name he is in possesion of stolen goods and you have every right to take it back.
