Just got mine installed a few hours back. No CEL just an awesome sound

I don't see how the scoop would cause the light to come on though.
Maybe one of the wires on the intake came loose?

Just wondering, have you checked the code to see what it is? It may not have anything to do with your CAI. I just installed the same setup today with roto fab washer bottle. My CAI intake lid was incredibly tight when installing. Anyone else have this problem?

Havent checked the code yet. My CAi is pretty tight also. Normal I guess.

If you have time take it to auto zone for a code check. I hope it's no big deal.

Does Autozone do it for free or something?

Autozone will check codes for free. Check your MAF sensor connection, make sure it is tight as well as the clamps on the throttle body and filter.

Yes, as well as advance auto, just pull up and tell them you need a code read. They will love checking out your car!!

Ok, I got the code read, It says I'm running to lean. I think this probably is caused by the adding of the ADM scoop. Correct? So much more air, it now wants fuel?

Sounds like it was a P0174 Code? At least, thats what Onstar said I had after I asked them to run a diagnostic when my CEL was on. It went away the next day and hasnt been on since. But, I've been keeping an eye on this thread for insight on the issue:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172698

I plan on doing headers/tune, which im sure will fix the problem, but in the meantime, if it comes back habitually, ill have to figure out something to hold me over.

Thank you for choosing Cold Air Inductions!! Not sure why the ADM scoop (if thats even what it is) is causing the CEL?? We have heard of a lot of our customers adding the ADM scoop without any issues. If it went away and the car is running properly and fuel economy has not taken a huge drop then maybe it was just a fluke??

I put on the CAI Inc CAI with scoop and got a CEL, code PO113. I took it to AutoZone, they cleared it and it hasn't come back since. I'm guessing the computer fixed itself. I have about 800 miles on it now, no CEL.
