Safety Issue if running 2017 MMR 1LE 11" rear rims

I also sent this to the vendor who mounted and balanced the rear set.

IMO this is an Immediate Safety Issue if selling the 2017 1LE Replica MMR rims. The danger is a result of the placement of the wheel balancing weights on the 11” MMR rear rims with 295 40ZR 20 tires.

By placing the rear balancing weights toward the back part of the rim, you LOWERED the clearance between the rim and the rear brake line causing the rear balance weights to cut into the vehicles rear brake lines, THANK GOD, I decided to do a deep cleaning today and found the hazard! As a result I now have to replace both my rear brake lines since they are both now damaged.

Attached pictures of issue… Anyone else have this setup should immediately check to see if they have the same issue? Especially if the practice is to rear mount the weights to balance the rear rim/tires so I may not be the only one with this immediate problem right now?

They did however mount and balance the front 10” rims with the 275 40ZR 20 toward the front of the rim and the fronts have zero contact issues!!!

Holy crap.... Regardless of the weight, it looks like the line is already pretty close to the rim. Good eyes bro!

When doing dynamic balance, you will likely want to put some weights on the inside; just following what the balance machine says.

The problem here is that these rims have the wrong offset/width for your car.
