2017 1SS trade?
I found a 2017 1SS manual with NPP as the only option. The guy wants 28K for it, would this be a downgrade from my 2013 2SS 1LE? i test drove the 2017 and it made my car feel like a joke, and I have some bolt ons and a tune...
I got all new bakes front and rear, new tires, K&N CAI, Texas Speed Headers, and tune so it might not be a good idea to trade, but.... i know the subject might be beat to death but any opinions?

He's willing to trade you, or are you talking a trade in and then purchase his? What aren't you happy with on yours, and if you did the trade, how long do you think you'd be happy with the 17?

The 17 is going to be a better road performer. I test drove one and it feels lighter, quicker and all around much better. That being said I still won't give up my 2015 1le. I love the looks and old school feel. Plus I believe the gen 5 with the ls3 is a more reliable package overall. Again these are only my opinions.
If my 1le was a daily driver I would be more inclined to move to a gen 6 or a Challenger. It's my toy and I think it's fantastic in that regard!! I need a bit more straight line power but I'll get there. |

That is exactly what i think. It just felt a bit better, kinda felt awkward when I got back into mine, felt sluggish i guess. I daily mine so that's why I'm fighting it lol. I do lile my 300 dollar payment though...
Dont like the idea that i have to either cam or FI the car to even keep up...

Doesn't your car have a rebuilt title? You're gonna get hosed on a trade-in, if they'll even take it. I would just hang onto the 1LE and invest some money into cam/heads, you'll still come out way ahead financially and have more power as well. Win win!
