115K on Original pads
Yep you heard it right 115k. 110k is highway driving though so I am sure that helped. Pads are starting to wear a bit, and an end of the month inspection is needed. Instead of having my station do them with an inspection, I figured this would be something I could do pretty easily. Rotors are no cut into, so no replacement there. Basically just pads and thats it. Any recommendations for pads, and how I could get another 115k miles on them?

wow impressive. Mine is just less than 44k and about to replace em. Really close to the wear clips.

I'd go with PowerStop Pads, but I'd replace the rotors as well.

You think this is a must with that many miles on my car, and the original pads lasting this long?

With that many miles on everything it'd still be worth checking the rotors for thickness with a micrometer. If that measurement on any rotor is at or below the minimum "machine to" thickness, it's time for new rotors at least on that axle.

Where in TN do you live because a shop I went to charged a little over $200 to do all 4 rotors and pads, providing my own parts.

The cost to turn the rotors is almost equivalent to just ordering a new set of rotors. Might as well order a new set. Look at R1 Carbon Rotors.

I replaced my brakes and rotors a month ago. Got my set from Brake Performance for $370 I believe. My car only had 70K on it but I went ahead and replaced everything.

Just jinxed myself..... Brakes are squealing and grinding pretty bad. Looks like I will invest in rotors and brakes.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how difficult a task is this? I am pretty handy, and have done a few things with the car including a cold air intake, catch can and throttle body. Also if someone can point me in the right direction for purchasing new pads and rotors. I saw someone mention brake performance.com so far. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

It’s a pretty easy job. Very straightforward. I believe there are some diy threads on here. I’m running powerstop pads and rotors and they’re very nice and fairly priced. You can get them on amazon.

Not a hard job at all, you can get all 4 corners done in 2 hours or less even if you take your time. 1A Auto on youtube has a really good video on changing the brakes and rotors for a V6 Camaro
Front: https://youtu.be/GlDiHibH1-Y Rear: https://youtu.be/YDuCnMM5E8o I'd recommend powerstop or brake performance for a full kit |

Holy jeez. That's a lot of easy on the brakes miles.
I'd stick with OEM parts since they lasted you that long. The brake job is easy, but you also must flush out the old brake fluid. That should be done annually. Carefully clean the pistons with brake clean before pushing them in. I've seen a lot of lazy brake jobs not taking that step, but it can lead to issues down the road. Make sure the seals are good - if not go ahead and get a caliper/piston rebuild kit. Brakes are too important to take shortcuts.
