If I do H/C it might end up being too loud for me, in which case I'll do some bigger mufflers.

I want a mix of that with the deep sound my car has. thought about doing dual 3" on mine through a X and dual bullets dumping at rear diff...then still be able to close the dumps and go out the existing dual 2.5" magnaflows to kill drone when cruising.

I don't know how much drone I have cruising, I've only driven in traffic, but hopefully the X pipe will help with that.
I think there is a strong chance I will change mufflers for heads and cam. How are those round GM mufflers, the ones that look like Borlas?

Josh I still hafta say, the car feels quicker with the x pipe and !cats. Hopefully I can hit the track soon and the slips will tell me if the buttometer is accurate.
I can hear at least one exhaust leak, so I'll stop by my local chain Velasquez Brothers and have them weld the exhaust up.

I finally drove the car in lighter traffic and was able to cruise at 50, 60, 70, and 80 MPH.
Mostly good, some bad. The drone with light gas pedal, in 6th gear, at like 1700-1900 RPMs is pretty rough. Like Mustang Foxbody with Flows back in the day rough. For the moment I'm okay with it. I'm not going to add a bunch of weight back in by doing stock mufflers, but I'm open to 2.5" inlet muffler ideas.
