Got my K&N CAF today and installed it. It did not have an airflow direction arrow & both sides looked the same so I installed with the words up and readable. There was a little rubber nub on the bottom middle that looked like the result of the manufacturing process. I cut it off with a blade because if not there would not have been a nice seal.

K&N Cabin Filters - OILED ?

Oiled filters are not something I favor.
I don't think the spray that you put on the cabin filters is oil. They spray should be an electrostatic spray to put a charge on the filter media.
