Wait until your NOT upside DOWN and won't lose your A$$. The used SS market isn't going to get anything but bigger

IF you can do it. do it.
Iwas able to swing it. 2011 2LT RS paid for. traded in for a 2010 2SS/RS less miles. only have small loan. and I'm loving it.

Did you buy used or new. I know I bought used and decided to trade in after 3 months.. After really hageling with a dealer for almost a month he gave me everything I owed plus $500 ( I originally put $1000 cash $1000 trade on it)... I would say sometimes its better not to wait.

Only if you are going to wait a few years then you shouldn't be upside down, otherwise if you have the itch now go search for the best deal and scratch it.

Edit, travel north to somewhere there is actually a winter and you can find great deals..

Also consider that the 2016 Camaro reveal is probably exactly a year away at this point. It might be worthwhile to bide your time paying down your V6 so you can either get a good trade in value for it on a discounted 5th Gen SS, or know if you want to wait another few months for a spectacular looking 2016.

(That's what I'm doing anyway. )

You got a point but if the 6th gen looks anything like the new pony ill stick to the 5th gen cause the 2015 mustang looks hidious

^^^THIS^^^

If you can afford $26K then you can afford to pay 10% extra on the loan you have. That all goes toward principal and you will have more "equity" when you are ready to trade.
