Best Car cover for outside?

As much as I hate it, my SS will be outside this winter due to my side business filling up my garage. Can anyone recommend a very good outside cover for a fair price? I'm willing to pay, just want to make sure I get the best for the $$, I don't really want the flashy OEM cover either. Thanks, AL

I purchased the NOAH by Covercraft for a shade over $200 with accessories included. I know this topic has been covered on this forum before so you may want to do a search.

The Evolution 4 car cover by Covercraft is an excellent choice. I have it on my Camaro, which is kept outside and it performs flawlessly. Basically the same as the NOAH cover, but $50 less

I use the Noah from autoanything.com. Got a good deal and love it. Seems to take great care of the car and keeps dust off. I take it off when winds pick up past 20mph or so and then just wash the car ASAP and put it back on when things die down. (Nervous about wind whipping a cover against the paint) It has held up so far to 3 months of nasty Arizona heat, sun & dust. I'm really anal about the finish on my cars, but the garage is full. This is my alternative until more garage space comes around. My car with it's Zaino coats still looks perfect thanks to this cover! (granted the car is only 4 months old)

Not sure about wet performance....since it does not rain here, ever! It is supposed to be breathable, so I think it may allow a little moisture through, but then also allow it to evaporate.

What about using an outside car cover for when hauling the car on trailer?? would this be a bad idea?

Very bad idea... no matter how tightly you secure the cover, at highway speeds it will get air underneath and whip up and down scratching your paint.

Sooo, would probably be stuck as in using the cover only when not moving, just when trailer is parked....

A trailer like this would be better than trying to haul the car with a cover on it. That would keep all the road dirt, stones from flying up and chipping the front of the car.

I have a WeatherShield® HP from COVERCRAFT. It seems to work really well. Fits like a glove but it is custom made for the 2010 Camaro. Kind of expensive though.

Found this online. This guy made his own stone guard with some round tubing bolted to the front frame of the trailer and some mesh screening.
