torque converter stall???

question is what can i expect from going with a higher stall converter and what stall did you guys go with and what was your first reaction to the mod??

After a year driving on a btr stage 3, headers, cai, lower pulley I had a fti 3600 and injectors put in and it brought the car alive and more fun to drive I understand it is a good upgrade over stock, like a lot of stuff.

Sorry OP, dont mean to steal thread. I'm seeing you both had a cam installed with no Tq converter. So it appears it can be done, just not ideal.lol I dont daily my Z, but would eventually pursue a Tq converter, shortly after cam install. Thanks

I did not put a stall in my car after the cam ... three years now

I have fairly aggressive cam and just pop it in neutral at lights. I don't daily drive the car so its not a big deal.

ya, after i started running e 85 some of the chop went away, way more choppy on gas. so will a higher stall increase 0 to 60 times??

Most of the faster LSA/6L90 cars are still running the stock converter

i think the stock stall is 2400 so i guess that makes sense...
