It all depends. Turbo cars with big injectors and a E50 could get there.

SC with small injectors and E80 would probably start seeing pressure drop around 850whp ish. It worked great for me until the 830ish area, but I ran straight E. If you run 93 and meth it may support 1000whp.

I think the problem that companies face with providing a "Drop in" solution is:

1. Power. The stock wiring is not going to support the draw of 2 or 3 small pumps. This means you'll have to run a relay for each pump with a nice heavy gauge wire and find triggers.

2. Feed/return lines. The stock feed is too small and there is no return.

DSX has been working on a solution. I'm running their triple pump basket at the moment and its providing rock steady fuel pressure at 1000whp+ on E78 with 1300cc injectors. I believe he is working on making a controller for the pump basket, before it is released to market.

Anymore info on the 3 pump dsx setup? I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a fuel system, but can wait for something better and possibly cheaper

I have not tested the controller yet, but he has others running this pump basket. Maybe he’s working with them?? I’d just email dave at dsx tuning if you’re interested.

we are a dying breed... at least 6 years old now... Low priority??

I'll tell him, we want it now, we want it easy, and we want it cheap. I'm sure he'll jump right on it.

I think DSX claims they can support 1k WHP with a ZL1 pump. From what I have read from others, they don't seem to be able to be steady at around 850whp. Talk to Ted Jannetty. I am safe to around 750whp, I have no FP drop as of now. DSX kit would be the next step up, but I would probably just go with a dual or triple setup if I were going to surpass my fuel system capacity I have now.

I'm currently running stock pump with DSX Aux. system. E85, at 702 WHP so ZL1 pump with DSX should safely push HP to at least 800

I have the ZL1 pump with a Kenne Bell BAP and the ADM FPCM (which you can now just tune the stock one with HP Tuners. The BAP is turned on at seven pounds by a Hobbs switch. Plenty of fuel at 712hp on 93.

I don't don't think I could bring myself to pay $1000 for an external fuel pump, nitrous fuel tap and AN lines and fittings. Oh, and a MAP based controller controller of course. I also could not bring myself to cut a hole in my floorboard, when I put the ZL1 pump in, but that is just me. I dropped the cradle and installed poly cradle bushings while it was down.

If I were starting from stock again, I would just drop in a nice dual or triple for the price of an aux pump kit and not drill a hole in my fuel tank. My2cents.

Your not getting a dual or triple drop in complete with lines and fittings for $1000.
