Splash Guards

I'm looking to buy some for my 15 Camaro. Quite a few different ones out there. If you have them please post up some pics. I'm not sure which ones to buy.

I had the husky brand, but I didn't like how little they covered so I made my own. Even my lower rockers stay clean now.

I need a full set of these too.
Planning on making fronts and rears but I'd like to see anyone's homemade rear guard spacers and what they were made of.

I think it's RPI Designs that has a complete set for $50.

Bro i literally just finished making mine, for material i used 3/32 ABS plastic i ordered and a single sheet of 12x24 was enough to make front and rears; for spacers i actually made small brackets out of left over pieces of ABS left which are about an inch wide and the brackets are exactly the height of a 2/4.

It literally cost me less than $10 to make them, for fasteners i used what i had in "the bucket'o shit" to attach the rears to the brackets and the brackets are fastened to the body using the factory screws. The fronts i attached using the factory holes and some clips i had laying around, abs is very forgiving so you can heat it up via a heat gun or hair drier to shape it to the fender well and once cool it will retain all of its strength. I used carton from soda box to make my templates according to how i wanted the guards to fit and then simply traced it onto the abs and cut them out using metal shears then took a file and some sand paper to the edges and i swear they look legit.

Being unemployed at the moment due to an ankle injury left me wanting to do mods but having to watch budget one has to have ingenuity and make the most with the least possible afterall i have ALOT of time on my hands.

I installed the OEM Camaro splash guards, part number 23114080. Cost was $161.61 and I think they were well worth the cost. Directions were easy to follow and once you have them on they are staying on.

In the attached pictures I am running 21" OEM wheels with back tires 275/35/21. Splash guards are out just enough to protect the body panels.

NOTE: After posting I went to eBay to search for any listings could not fine a single set of 23114080. It appears the OEM part number has now changed to 23114083. I still have the directions for my set and the part number listed is ending 80.

Has anyone successfully found a set that will work with the OEM 2010-2013 GFX?

I would say that if you cant find them just make them, takes a bit longer to plan on how to attach the rears than to cut and mount everything on.

Thanks Crankshaft that's exactly what I needed.

Actually could of used those on my car at 3pm. Daughter begged me to drive, ok. Tragically a road with a sewer stop and the city 'accidentally' had a sewage spill. Yep, my daughter drove right thru it. Just spent 3 hours detailing. The smell! Pretty sure I saw some corn come out of the wheel well too.

I decided to install mine because I ran thru a area where someone had dropped some paint and got a bit of splatter, yeah that corn....... Another suggestion on what you could use as spacers are small pieces of pvc piping and Nylon spacers however this will require you to change the bolts and retainer clips from the liner on the car. My way allows you to literally make the brackets offset if you like allowing for access of removal and you will be using extra material so no extra expense and will take minutes to make, you could even reinforce the brackets as you like by gluing or plastic welding pieces on the side but I really don't think you will need to as mine are on there pretty well.

Thanks for posting up pictures. I found these that look like the GM ones Deputy posted on his car. Deputy could you please post a picture of your car showing the entire car so I have a better idea how they will look. TY https://www.ebay.com/itm/Full-Set-Mu...3/202726195682

I'll give it a shot however due to the color of the car they don't really show that well, BUT, they do provide protection.

You won't be able to tell they're on there if you do them the way I did. I started them near the body mid line on the fender. In most views, they blend right in with the tires so you hardly notice them on the car. Main thing is, it saves the paint on the sides and lower rockers which is worth it at least for me.

Couldn't agree more, they do blend in very well. Being they are not oversized they do not stick out like a set of elephants ears. Prior to putting them on I would get all kinds of road debris on the lower rear quarts as well as the lower section of the front fenders. Now, clean and worth their weight in gold.

Last evening I was detailing the Camaro which is now closing in on 5 years old. I fount about 5 extremely tiny road chips no bigger then the lead on a pencil. UGH!
