Needing help with the little things
Well it's been 6 months since I bought my 2015 1le and have been so impressed with it. Unfortunately during these past 6 months however, I've been in and out of touch with the prior owner trying to get stuff that he kept when he sold the car. Last text from him was about a month ago which has been about the norm sadly and my wife just told me to forget it and just try to find what I can and go on.
So what I'm looking for is the smaller things that would have came with this car brand new. I know I can get the oil separator kit from gm I think still? And I just saw a thread on duplicate windows stickers that I guess I may have to do now. I know I don't have a owners manual booklet. I went to gm site but can't find any if those items and I'd like them all if possible? If somebody has all the stuff that came with your car, could you please let me know what and if there are part #'s or send me pictures of everything. I'm also now on the search for a set of rear zl1 splash guards as well as I already have the fronts. And lastly any recommendations on a good quality skin tight indoor car cover by chance? Thanks guys!!! |

I think your best bet, especially for the owners manuals which include several others like navigation, I would go to eBay. When I was restoring my 1996 Impala SS my owners manuals were stored with other interior parts and somehow they got wet! Upset and unable to locate very nice ones I went to eBay. Took about a month to find what I wanted but lucked out with a new OEM set in the wrappers for $25.00 shipped SCORE. You would be surprised what you can find. If you have never used eBay just take your time and make sure you look at the sellers "track record".

Just for the fun of it I jumped over to eBay and looked for your manuals there is quite a few listed there, prices very, some people put REDICULIOUS prices on their listings, pays to take your time and search daily.
Appears there may be a total of 5 pieces of literature. 1. 2015 owner's manual 2. Limited warranty booklet 3. Getting to know your 2015 Camaro 4. SeriusXM radio, 2 small pieces of literature. Hope this helps.

They are available online for free. Do a search unless you just want a paper copy.

As far as a nice indoor cover I purchased the GM indoor cover. Very nice piece. Very smooth and soft on the inside. It’s also stretch cover so it fits perfect.

Thanks guys for the tips. I did see one guy selling a complete kit but wanting over a hundred bucks. Then I saw another with just the mylink booklet and he's wanting fifty plus. I'll keep looking although I feel I shouldn't have to be doing so.
Thanks for the car cover thought as well. I've seen that many have those and like them. I was looking at this one last night on rpidesigns website? https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item...oor-with-logo/ |

I have this one. Super soft on the inside. Fits like a glove, even with the ground effects.https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-GM-Indo...-/182364115490

Lol I was looking through past threads and as you say, most all just came in plastic bags. And I just remembered my 2011 Silverado manuals all came in zip lock bags as well. Thanks for bringing that up.

Well guys I bought a few things on eBay last night. I was able to talk down most the asking prices. I'm getting pretty much all the manuals in a complete package. Not sure yet if it's everything but a good start and no doubt more than I have now. Also bought a brochure, a dealer color chip chart and a cargo net. Thank you to all that gave suggestions. I'm going to start the process this week on trying to obtain a duplicate windows sticker along with finding a good deal on the pvc oil separator kit and rear zl1 splash guards. Then make a decision on a car cover.
