Obviously. But you said the GT500 couldn't lose any weight, you didn't say when lol. Most people assumed you were talking about development and pre-production, not after they've already built the car. IMO that's kind of a silly comment.

Speaking of something different... How did the GT-R get so close to the ZR1's lap time? The thing had a 150+hp disadvantage... and it's not like the handling differences where THAT MUCH GREATER. (Honestly IDK which handles better though).

how about not worrying about old 70's trans-am specs and look at koni challenge specs or rolex grand am specs or hell maybe even American Le Mans specs? Plus I still think Paul Gentilozzi is trying to resurrect the Trans-am series as a opening act if you would to the American Le Mans series isnt he? GM should build a car we can buy and take it to an event and run it.

I know he started the Jaguar GT2 team late this year, I don't know if he gave up on Trans-am or if this is part of a bigger commitment. They should develop it like the Koni Challenge series opens for the Grand Am.
