The ZL1 internals can handle more power than would ever be practical on a road course

But the fact remains both the Boss and GT500 have more durability upgrades in their engines than the 2 Camaros do. Don't you think Chevy would boost their engines to a higher level if long term durability were not important. 50,000 mile drive train warranty = big deal.

not even counting the gt500's "equal" the Zl1 which is even faster. but brings up a point that always bothers me, is that mustang owners compare the Boss 302 to a 1LE. when a 1LE is nothing but the equivilant of a GT Premium/Track Pack. but it would be too embarrasing i guess to compare the numbers of a 1LE to that of a GT with a track pack.
