Thats what I'm hoping for... and I'm working a deal to try to get the full nine inch kit, with 3:07 gears.... It'll have a Strange Diff, tru-Trac... the 30 spline axles and the one piece aluminum drive shaft... If this deal works out the way I hope, It'll also allow me to get my roll cage, a multi step controller and a electronic boost controller...

We'll probably start creeping the HP up with a tune shortly after I get back, and for grins and giggles, we'll put some race gas in her and see what we see... That may have to wait for cooler months though...

Which ACT clutch do you have? I have one as well, but no shifting problems.

But yours is still in the car and you're not having any issues...

I just got an update from Corey, my builder, and he said that his Transmission guy said the 6060 actually looks pretty good inside... He is going to put bronze bushings on the shift forks, and upgrade the synchros and look for any other parts that may help it shift better, but overall, it's in pretty good shape.

He did mention there is evidence that the clutch was not disengaging all the way... which would certainly make it hard to shift.

Corey will call ACT on the left Coast as soon as they wake up.... Find out what they have to say about the clutch if anything...

I scared the crap out the guy in the other lane in my one pass at the Fest... It was a hellishly loud bang... but it wasn't from the transmission, it was from the exhaust when I WAYYYYYyyyyyyy over reved it in second gear and blew flames out both pipes about fifteen feet long.... It was really really loud... Funny thing is he was ahead of me with his window up and still heard it really clearly...

I rolled out pretty easy in first, hit second, hammered it and immediately slammed into and beyond the rev limiter when the tires smoked up really bad... Short shifted into third, same thing but got out of it before I hit the rev limiter. I tried slipping the clutch a little but that wasn't working, (further driver mod needed) so I short shifted into 4th at about 75 mph, still spun them through the lights and went somewhere around 12.2 at 117... It was an awful run...

ooops, original question answer... Nope...

I am supposed to be off of here Monday morning, but I have to go spend a day or two in Macae doing my annual physical and extending my Visa...

I am scheduled to depart Brazil Wednesday evening and be home late Thursday Morning...

Hopefully I get my upgrade for the flight home and can sleep and am rested up enough to go and pick Brandi up Thursday... My company still makes us ride in the back of the bus, but I have acquired enough miles that with a fee and trading in miles I can upgrade if there is space available. The fee is worth every penny to me...

I got a little update from Corey,

He said that the transmission upgrade parts should be at the tranny builders Monday, and so it'll go together real quick, no problem there...

And, apparently there is something going on with my clutch, as the owner of the company ACT is taking a personal interest in it.... I'm happy so far with the customer service and concern... They told Corey they wanted to make sure it's right, and appear to be taking the necessary steps to insure it is... to ACT...

We'll get an update Monday as to what they are going to do with it...

Curiosor and curiosor...

.

Reason I asked, no clutch shift will really BANG if the gears aren't meshed.

Throw some quickrete bags in the trunk next time, prolly grenade the diff but the wheelie will be SO worth it!
