How bad is the drone on the MRT1?
So I’m trying to decide between MRT 1 or 2. I really want louder and less rasp, but I don’t know how bad the drone would be for the V1’s.
So far, for my exhaust, I have ARH HFC downpipes, res delete, and res xpipe. Everyone prefers the V2, but I’m wondering if I could maybe tolerate the “terrible” sound the V1 makes. |

I like my MRT1, but I never got to hear the drone. When I was putting on the mufflers, I added the J-Pipes at the same time. So, put them on, hear your drone, then decide if you need the Helmoltz Filters.

Trust me when I tell you that you need to be careful with the loudness/drone as my hearing was damaged (tinnitus)

That poster also has an SS. Very different. If you have high flow cats and the Magnaflow resonated x you're fine. It's not too drony at all.
