And the MPSS are actually 15k if you have staggered sizes. Not sure on the others' warranties but may be the same (half)

I will never run another tire other than the PSS.

I get 20k out of the rears and about 30k out of the fronts.

Like the rest said, they are very good. Comfortable ride and wear like hell. I dont dd much now but have autocrossed for five years and these are of the best. Ran 285/35s on 20x10s and now 295/30s on 20x10.5 wheels . They grip like hell as long as hot psi is below 38 psi and for autocross duty last twice as long as the crappy nitto invos.

You should make this a poll so we can see how many of each opinion, I'm looking at these, but they are very expensive so I'm checking opinions as well

More costly, but for autocross at least worth it as they last alot longer then nittos, hankooks and most of the rest

Good tires

I ran the dog crap out of these tires and they held up very well. Ran a full day on a 3.5 mile road course and about 200 autoX runs on them before they were about 1/2 gone in tread. Had to replace them cause they started wearing thin and chunking on the outside edge. Great tire but a just a little more expensive. They were slow to get heat in them for autoX but gripped well when temp got up. I am running 285s on 10.5" rims and now running Rs3s so I can flip the RS3s on the rim to extend wear but the MPSS you cannot.

I found that the MPSS - Handle, ride, and are much quieter that the Goodyear F1's.

ehhh some of the more notable road course racers on this forum hate these tires. guys like x25, backeddy and a few others had slower lap times with mpss, and the tires were greasy/overheated after only a few laps around their respective courses.

i specifically remember backeddy(1:43@laguna seca in a stock 1le) saying, "Pilot Super Sports SUCK".

These will be the only tires I will be using from April to November, I hit the back roads spiritedly and the track on occasion, but for only a few laps. Hoping for more wear and better cold temperature performance, understandably not as sticky as the f1's, think these will work or should I just get some bfg's for half the price?

Can't be stated any clearer than this. There's a reason why it's the OEM tire of choice for a lot of cars much faster than ours.

The Benchmark has become the Bandwagon.
Once it get some good votes, people choose the highest rated automatically.
Snowballs from there.
What store would talk you out of buying a $300+ tire?

Yeah I guess that's why Bugatti has Michelin build the tires for the Veyron...bandwagon and all lmao.

Two of the fastest I've seen in a 5th gen on a road course both use PSS, Bryan Johnson on his 1LE and Ryan Matthews on the DSE White Monster...you should know cooking tires on a road course can be caused by the drivers skill and whether you using proper technique entering and exiting corners...and after all these are street tires, not track tires so they are only going to be good for a few good laps anyway regardless of the brand
...for autocross they are very good tires...
