Didn't weigh unmounted but they were approx. 4.2 lbs lighter each with Michelin compared to stockers with Hoosier R7s

How long would these slicks last? I'd like to get a second set of wheels with slicks for the track, and leave the stockers for street use.

That completely depends on how you drive. I expect I will only get 6 days out of set. I hope to flip them and get 8 days. If your not aggressive and easy in the corners you will get a lot more days.

How many days do you get out of Trofeo's? I get 4 if lucky

18" Forgelines will definitely clear 6 piston front Brembos.
18" Welds will not due to the way the step is on the rear.
Forgelines give the full 18" clearance and step down at the center instead of at the outer lip.

Nice setup.

That's what I'm afraid of if I stick with the Trofeo's. These slicks would cost the same but perform better and last longer. Even if I go with Hoosier R7's I'm sure it would still last longer.

The Forgeline wheels are out of the question for me, does anyone know any other brand 18's that would fit? I ran Enkei's on my last car and they seemed ok, just don't know if they will handle the abuse on the track.

I believe Finspeeds will clear the calipers as well

I believe the Z/28 team was trying to get 18-inch wheels to work, but settled on 19s in the end. Given how tight the clearance is, even with my 19-inch Finspeeds, I get why they made that decision...
