HorsePowerAddicts 2015 Z28 H/C/I Build thread
Just wanted to post up a beautiful 2015 Z28 we have in the shop getting a heads, cam, intake, header package we spec'd out for the goals of the client. The owner tracks this car at NJMP, VIR, ect and was looking for a broader power curve to help out everywhere on the track getting 4000+ pounds from corner to corner.
We settled on a solid build. -HPA/PRC CNC ported head program -Katech Torquer Cam -Smith Brothers rocker trunion bushings -Mamo ported MSD intake manifold -HPA ported Throttle Body -Kooks 1 7/8" longtube headers -HPA Calibration I attached the baseline dyno pulls. Two pulls within a few minutes of each other. Second pull had some knock causing the drop. Planning to get the car together this week and back on the dyno. Will post some pictures during the install as well as a before/after dyno video and idle. Follow our Facebook page and YouTube channel to stay up to date on build in the shop. https://www.youtube.com/user/HorsePowerAddicts https://www.facebook.com/HorsePowerA...5494785158470/ |

Sorry for the wait. Have been busy this week and didn't get a chance to update the post. Made some good numbers with great bottom end to get the car from corner to corner. The owner should be tracking it within a month or so.
Attached is the before and after. I am working on getting the video up soon. |

Take a look and listen of Z/28 completed by HorsePowerAddicts.
This was a thorough build considering the Z/28's track abilities and enhancing what the vehicle already does very well with the addition of "power". HPA provided extensive insight while also listening to my expectations and goals. No details were dismissed and the outcome is exactly what is to be expected. No track time completed as of this post, although, the calibration and power band has delivered enjoyment already. Z/28 updates from me will be found in the Z/28 Forum, and the channel posted.
