stock cai question

what is the hose on the left side of the stock cai(2015 ss camaro for ex) that runs away from cai and connects to engine area just below the oil cap? what is that hose called?

I believe its a positive crankcase ventilation hose if it is running to the valve cover. I never saw the stock setup though.

mine is lose on the crank case side from when i pulled it off originally. now when i put back on it doesnt "snap" bakc on, its just on and i dont want it to slide off.....now i know what to call it when i call the dealer to purchase another

if you haave enough slack cut about a half inch off and see if it tightens up.

It's plastic pipe with a o-ring fitting on each end. You have to replace if the tabs don't snap back in tight. Or put a real cold air on it and it will either have a hose barb or hose fitting so you can use rubber hose.
